The e-Quals qualification for IT users is available at levels 1,2 and 3 where a user will study for certificate, diploma or advanced diploma. At each level, a user must complete a core unit - IT principles at levels 2 and 3 and at level 1 you have a choice of either IT principles or Computing fundamentals.

We have jointly developed with Microsoft a new route for those taking the IT users qualifications which enables you to follow a Microsoft Office Specialist course (MOS), as part of the e-Quals programme. This means that if you pass your Microsoft Office Specialist test, we will accept this as proof of your skills in that area and you won't have to do the equivalent e-Quals assessment.
